It’s no surprise that Elden Ring won Game of the Year at last year’s Game Awards (and topped many other lists).
The tough Soulsborne, co-written by George RR Martin, was always a strong contender, but still manages to exceed all expectations.
Fans who made the game platinum are of course hungry for the DLC, and got their hands on it at the Colosseum last December 7th. That said, it’s the first anniversary of the release, is there anything else?
We share everything we know, including rumors and speculation, below!
Will there be DLC for Elden Ring?
Colosseum was released last year, so it already offers free DLC. As good as it was with an intense PVP mode, we’re ready for something else. So is there anything on the card?
Formally? No, nothing has been announced yet, but we will update this page as soon as something is revealed.
When will the Elden Ring DLC be released?
A look back at FromSoftware’s past DLC shows us one of the biggest clues as to when the Elden Ring DLC will drop. With the exception of Sekiro (whose DLC was released 19 months after him), the previous SoulsBornes have his DLC within a year of the game’s release.
And since we’re approaching the game’s one-year anniversary (February 25th), hopefully we might get a treat soon.
What would you like to see in the Elden Ring DLC?
Some leaks and rumors suggest the DLC will be called Barbarians of the Badlands. This means the game could take place in the Badlands where The Tarnished fell.
Of course, as exciting as these rumors are, they should be taken with a pinch of salt: we just want to explore new areas of Lands Between, delve deeper into lore, and, of course, face even tougher foes.
I’ll let you know here as soon as something is decided!
