Sherry Tan took home four gold medals alongside fellow Singapore National Team bowlers Nyu Hui Feng and Sheinang in the Women’s Singles, Women’s All Events, Women’s Masters and Women’s Trios.

In the Women’s Masters event, Singapore swept all three medals offered. Tan faced New in the stepladder final. Tan won both the games she won 246-149 and she 235-212 to win the gold medal and New won the silver medal. Daphne Tang finished third after losing 265-221 to New in the women’s master stepladder semifinals.
Jaris Goh and Timothy Tam won in Singapore to top the men’s doubles category with a combined 2,991 pinfalls. Second place was Malaysia’s Shajirol Shamsudin and Tun Hakim pairing with 2,967 pinfalls and South Korea in third place with 2,918.
“We had the highest number of medals won in this competition and our overall performance was excellent,” said Goh.
“This will be a solid base for our team to come back here to work on and improve on what we have identified as improving,” the 26-year-old added.
