27th Annual Truckee River Day & Fair

The Truckee River Basin Council has established a River, Meadow and Wetland Restoration Day on Sunday, October 16, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm to work with volunteers to restore the watershed and address the impacted areas. Protect vulnerable areas and plant native plants. vegetation.

Projects will begin at 9:00 or 11:00 AM at various locations around the watershed and finish between 2:00 and 3:00 PM.

Additionally, to celebrate the Truckee River, the Truckee River Day Fair is held from 1-4pm at the Granite Flat Campground. This free event is open to everyone.



The fair will provide opportunities for live entertainment, environmental education activities, art projects and more.

Granite Flat is located one mile south of Truckee on Hwy 89. This event is affiliated with the Sierra Watershed Eduction Partnerships.

Crystal Bay Club Casino Lineup

The Crystal Bay Club Casino offers live music throughout the weekend with a tight line-up.

The show begins Thursday, October 13th at 8pm. The Movement’s ‘Always With Me Tour’ features The Elevators & Sideways in the Crown Room.

Tickets for the event are prepaid at $25 plus taxes/fees. Or $30 on show day.

Taking inspiration from Sublime, 311, Slightly Stopped and John Brown’s Body, The Movement has been winning the hearts and minds of alternative reggae fans since 2003. July.

On Friday, October 14th, Jackie Greene & The Dead Winter Carpenters will perform in the Crown Room at a complimentary afterparty with Golden Cadlux.

Shows are $40 plus taxes and fees.

Elvin Bishop is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame, and formed a fan trio with Bob Welsh and Willie Jordan in late 2015.

Sierra Speaker Series: How the Southern Pacific Cab Forward Locomotive Was Invented for Donner Pass

Free Estate Planning Seminar by Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe
